Dian Salangsang
UX/UI Designer

Hi! I’m a big picture, list-enthusiastic, pixel-perfectionist digital designer passionate about adding value to life through design.

I have earned 6+ years of design experience in the corporate and e-commerce marketing & advertising industry, now focusing my skills in UX/UI Design.

I am a self-taught UX/UI Designer who has learned the concept, process, and heart of UX design through the help of articles, YouTube, and the mentorship of a UX designer actively working in the field. Applying lessons I’ve learned to projects I create has been the most significant aspect of my growth as a UX/UI Designer.

When I’m not designing, you can catch me surfing, skating, tasting new food, challenging myself with escape rooms, or planning my next trip with friends.

Education
Cal Poly Pomona, B.F.A in Graphic Design

My Values

🤩 Vision is key.

I believe that having a vision gives purpose to every decision you make. Whether it’s in life or designing, I always put my best foot forward with a purpose-filled vision of where I want to go and what I want to accomplish.

⭐️ Aim for excellence.

Perfection is not the goal, excellence is. Perfection challenges you to be unattainable while excellence challenges you to be valuable. In everything I do, I make it my goal to bring value through excellence-driven work.

📚 Never stop learning.

Learning doesn’t stop after graduation. Whether it’s learning a new skill or learning life lessons, we’re all students of life. I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself to grow and improve as a human being and as a designer.

🤗 Embrace change.

Life is ever-evolving; some of the best things in life come from change. Whether I’m living life or designing, I embrace change and look for the new opportunities that come from it to make way for a positive influence in my creative thinking.

🙏 Stay humble.

We all started with nothing before getting to where we are today. I respect everyone’s journey and the chapter they are in. Staying humble allows me to be open to collaboration, feedback, and new ideas from people and the world around me.

😇 Design compassionately.

Technology can often lack the human touch, but as designers, we have the opportunity to design with people in mind. After all, design is for people. I aim to design with compassion, honoring human behavior and its influence on good design ideas.
